Pauline looked Fantastic! 

 

 

I was thrilled to get a phone call from Pauline & Bart asking me to be their wedding planner.



I had been the planner for Pauline's sister's wedding  (Delores & Ches) the previous summer.

Fun!

 



Pauline's wedding was full of gorgeous details that she had chosen herself

 - like this stunning hair piece!

Pauline and Jenna spent the morning having fun at the salon 

getting their hair and make up done.

 

 Too cute

 

Pauline had this custom aisle runner made for the ceremony,

she ordered it on line.

The Great Room at the Banff Y Mountain Lodge looked Fantastic!

Thanks to the ladies at Special Event Rentals and Kasia,

 we dressed up the chairs, rented some tall glass vases

 and sprinkled some rose petals - it was stunning!

The fresh flower arrangements looked amazing

thanks to Forget-me-not Flowers

Kasia and I tied double bows on all the chairs and the color scheme was

perfect for a December wedding, it was very striking.

 

 

Jenna walked Pauline down the aisle

Local Marriage Commissioner Carl Shields performed a beautiful ceremony

 

Thank goodness for modern technology

Bart & Pauline chose to include personal vows to each other,

they were a very special part of the ceremony

 

 Congratulations!

We were NOT unplugged. 

No, Pauline & Bart's ceremony was being watched live by their family on the East Coast.

They were able to experience and congratulate the couple through this I pad.

Cheers!

Deborah Nyack was able to create a magical ambiance as she

played her harp for the couple before and during the ceremony -

 it certainly added a special and romantic  touch to the day.

Despite the Winter weather, the group was very brave

and we were able to get some spectacular outdoor portraits.

This is our new Banff bridge, with Cascade mountain in the background

conveniently located right behind the Banff Y Mountain Lodge.

The group had fun being chauffeured around in this white stretch limousine

 

LOVE the boots (I need a pair of these)!

 

Stunning!

 

Then we headed down to the Warner Stables for a lovely Romantic Sleigh Ride

Check out the backdrop - you can't beat the scenery in the Canadian Rocky Mountains!

 

Simply Breathtaking

 

The wedding cake was 2 tiers, one tier lemon and the other raspberry ripple

with white fondant and Pauline brought the details and cake topper with her.

 



The crystal candelabra was exquisite and we had some fresh flowers for the center.

 

The dining table for the evening reception was perfect. 

Glamorous & Elegant and I hear the food was fantastic!

 

Pauline & Bart we wish you a lifetime of Happiness together!
