Banff Log Cabin - Luxury Retreat for 2

Banff Log Cabin - Luxury Retreat for 2

Here in the heart of Banff, Alberta we have a beautiful, hand crafted
Log House with a cozy guest house beside it.

Perfect for a retreat, special occasion
or to spend some quality time with your partner.

Our Log Cabin B & B is totally separate from the main house,
so you have your space and privacy.  Off street parking, free internet, fresh baked muffins & breakfast delivered to your door, fire pit and Townie bicycles for your use.

Here it is, the private log cabin for two guests:

Inside the cabin is a queen sized bed, fluffy pillows and cast iron gas stove.

The cabin has a small kitchenette, with a bar fridge, kettle & coffee maker, with tea selection.

No cooking facilities, but we are surrounded by amazing
restaurants, and lots of "take out" options.

The bathroom hosts a full bath (perfect for soaking after a long hike, or big day on the ski hill)
a shower, toilet and sink.

We use locally crafted soap made by the Rocky Mountain Soap Company

The cabin is beautifully landscaped, designed to add privacy to the cabin,
but not keep the wildlife out, and you will often see deer and elk at the cabin.
Spot the male Elk.

We have been #1 on Trip Advisor for the past 8 years.

During the summer, couples often choose to eat breakfast on the deck.

Breakfast is served fresh everyday, and includes muffins straight from the oven,
fruit cocktail, yoghurt, juice, coffee and tea.

This is our current menu, we ask you to choose your delivery time
and muffin flavor and leave for us at turndown.

We get lots of local visitors, we often refer to them  as the "welcoming committee"

The Banff Log Cabin has been recognised as a Heritage Building, hand built which is  rare,
each log was hand cut and peeled by the Langevin Family, it took 4.5 years to complete.
(These days, log houses are ordered from a prefab company that factory mills
your logs and assembles on your property).

The Banff Log Cabin has lots of character.

Inside the cabin we have lots of unique details like this gorgeous real antler chandelier
(from a deer farm in BC, the antlers fall off annually)

It is a short work to the town of Banff long a pathway beside the river, with spectacular views.

The cabin is heated with a cast iron gas stove, so the cabin is always cozy.

The cabin is well located on the quietest residential street in Banff,
only  a few minutes walk to the Bow Falls

In the summer, the easiest way to get around Banff is by bicycle, and we have two Townies for you to use.  We also have some gentle bike trails along the river which are beautiful to cycle along.

This big Pileated Wood pecker visits us annually every spring, we always look forward to his return.

We have a big fire pit, plenty of wood and during he summer months you are welcome to
build a fire and roast marshmallows.  S'mores are a Canadian tradition!

It doesn't get any more Canadian than this.

Special Occasions - Absolutely!

If you are Eloping in Banff, celebrating your Honeymoon, Anniversary, Engagement, Proposal, Birthday or just need some quality time together, the cabin is for you.

Christmas in Banff, and at the Log Cabin, is an especially romantic time of year,
there is nothing quite like the magical lead up to Christmas.

Our Winter Duvet cover is from our local store the Rocky Mountain Flannel Co.

Wildlife - it is everywhere, and on rare occasions
you may be lucky enough to see a passing bear.

A summer evening around the fire pit.

Whenever you decide to visit, we look forward to meeting you and telling you about all the wonderful thing we have going on in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
